GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

Every woman needs a night out with the girls. Each week I get together with some girls and do whatever it is we want to do! We get together around 9:30 which means the kiddos are all sleeping all snuggled up tightly in their beds and the husbands are getting some down time of their own. Girl time allows you to let loose, put the "mommy" aside and have some fun! I don't do much blogging about my girl time because lets face it, "What happens at girls night, stays with girls night".
However, these last two nights have been really fun and took me back to the good ol' highschool days. One of our nights we decided to dress up and make a home video. We did an 80's rock music dance video. That's what the picture is above. Hillarious!
Last week we had a SCAVENGER HUNT. We separated into 2 groups and let the fun begin. Here was our list that we had to accomplish. We had to be back at my house no later than 11pm, for yummy dessert of course. We took pictures/video of each task for evidence.

1. Swing on swings on a playground.
2. Collect an Orange object.
3. Get a picture of you and a cat.
4. Picture of you on top of the tallest item you can find.
5. Pix with the oldest ward member still awake. Ask them their age to verify. (It might come down to the wire).
6. Video of stranger singing to you, "twinkle, twinkle little star."
7. Picture of entire group on the railroad tracks.
8. Picture in front of a school in your best cheer formation.
9. Find a grave stone with the beginning letter "S".
10. Roll of toilet paper from a gas station or store bathroom. (Must have picture to show bathroom or store and physical t.p. roll).

Disclaimer: Do not call if you are arrested. Take it like a woman and spend the night in jail.

#4. Holly just had twins a few months ago. I can't believe she climbed that tree!!!!

#7. We were going for the b/w family and engagement picture look. (Aubry was in our group too but she took our picture).

#5. We totally won this one. This is sweet Larue. Not only did she open the door for us at 10pm but she took a picture for us too. She is 74 years old and is the cutest woman!

8. Our best Cheer formation. Me, Holly and Trish. Aubrey isn't in this picture either because, duh, we didn't want her going into labor! AND, we still had 2 more items to do. A trip to the hospital would've definitely put us in last place.

#6. Video of stranger singing to you "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star". This took 2 attempts because the girl from Dominos stared at us in objection, finally gave in, but would only SAY the first line. ...We needed something better, and got it. These 3 guys were so funny. The Maverik employee was AWESOME! He was such a good sport and had fun doing this with us.

This was yet another fun and adventurous night. Thank you Holly for making the yummy pumpkin cake. And Kandy, your scavenger hunt letter was great, despite the blah blah blah. Kudos to Tomi and Marc for the idea! Oh, and a note to Amanda and Tomi: Now you know who's team to be on next time. By the way, Aubry, Trish and Holly, did I forget to mention that our team ROCKS!!!!

Man it looks like high school again. A few months ago I snuck out with my two neighbors all of us dressed in black to sneak through the bushes and spy on their teenage daughter. It was so fun. I bet you guys have a blast doing not the normal 30 year old mother thing!

This blog should never have been posted. Your team does not rock, and they are cheaters through and through. Bias and cheaters I say.
